How to uninstall Bandwidth Manager software ?
1.Close Bandwidth Manager software.
2.Start Bandwidth Manager installer. 3.Accept licence agreements and press Next button. 4.Press Uninstall button. 5.In the new popup menu with the question "Uninstall Antamedia Bandwidth Manager and delete database ?". Choose "Yes". 6.To complete uninstallation of the software please restart the server computer. |

Which port needs to be opened for the Bandwidth Manager ?
Bandwidth Manager uses port 80. Be sure that port 80 is free and not used by any other software.
If You get the message 'Error: port 80 is use', please close application which uses port 80 before start of the Bandwidth Manager. To find which software uses port 80 in command promt (cmd.exe) use command netstat -abn If You use Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 please disable IIS server. |

Network interface configuration
In the Bandwidth Manager software - Setup - Network page select network interface.
That is network card on the server computer used for connection with the client computers. In Server IP field type IP address of this network card. Save settings. |

How to logout computer automatically after certain period of inactivity ?
First configure after how much time computer will be disconnected from the internet.
Option is located in the Bandwidth Manager software - Setup - Network page. By default inactivity logout is set to 180 seconds. Second step is to enable "Inactivity logout" option to the account. Choose the account from Bandwidth Manager - Accounts - Accounts page and enable "Inactivity timeout" option. If You use Autologin option, enable "Inactivity logout" in the Bandwidth Manager software - Accounts - Autologin page. |

How to allow computer access to the internet without bandwidth control ?
Specify MAC address of the computer which should pass to the internet without bandwidth control in the

How to authenticate the Account ?
Account access control can be based on: IP address, MAC address or both (IP and MAC address):
1.If computers have fixed IP addresses You might choose to control login based on IP addresses. 2.However if you use DHCP and IPs are different, you should select MAC based login verification. 3.For highest security, you can enable third option. If both IP and MAC are found in the database, and these match computer that tries to login, access will be granted. If any of these mismatch, login will not be possible. |

How to see all Account actions (login, logout etc...)
Action Log database option is located in the Bandwidth Manager - Statistics - Action page.
To see all actions for Specified account, type username or client computer IP or MAC address and press Show button. Action Log database can be filtered per time period (today, yesterday, this week etc.) and type of the action (start, stop, login, logout, new account etc.) |

How to create the Account ?
Accounts are specified by IP address, MAC address or both (IP and MAC address). Please define all account details in Bandwidth Manager - Accounts - Accounts page. Here's the explanation:
'IP'- Client computer IP address 'MAC'- Client computer MAC address 'Download' - Limit download rate in kb/s 'Upload' - Limit upload rate in kb/s 'Quota' - Total amount of data in MB available 'Enable unlimited quota' - Unlimited quota (if you wish to limit only download/upload rate) 'Time' - Time left (If you wish to set limited time per session) 'Enable unlimited access time' - Unlimited time option 'Only allow access' - Set allowed access hours for login 'Inactivity timeout' - Computer will be automatically logged out if there is no network activity within a specified time 'Active' - Account can be temporary disabled |

How to archive Bandwidth Manager database ?
By default all database files are stored in c:\\Antamedia\Bandwidth Manager\Database folder. Close Bandwidth Manager and copy Database.

By default all database files are stored in c:\\Antamedia\Bandwidth Manager\Database folder. Close Bandwidth Manager and copy archived database files to the default database folder.

How can I stop connected account ?
In the Bandwidth Manager main page, right mouse click on the account you want to stop. In new popup window choose "Stop Account" button.

How to allow acces to the Internet without creating of the account ?
Autologin option enables access to the Internet for the client computers without creating of the account.
All client computers in the network will access to the Internet. But access to the internet will be limited for all users. Enable "Auto login users with default rates" in the Bandwidth Manager - Accounts - Autologin page and set limitations (Download and upload speed, access time to the Internet bandwidth quota). |

How to integrate Bandwidth manager with Antamedia Internet Caffe software ?
Option to allow integration of Bandwidth Manager with Antamedia Internet Caffe software is located in Bandwidth Manager - Setup - Accounts - ServerControl page. This option allows fully automated process if you already use Antamedia Internet Caffe software in your cybercafe.
As soon as customer login in Internet Caffe clients, Bandwidth Manager will grant him access based on his member account or default values specified in Internet Caffe software. At the end of the session, Bandwidth manager disables Internet access to the client computer, preventing any program to access Internet resources. Online games, viruses, worms etc will not be able to generate undesired traffic. |
