Smart Cards – Additional Security
Smart cards are reusable access cards which offer complete secure system with our Internet Cafe software.
Customers simply insert card in card reader and they are automatically logged in. They do not have to remember username and password or timecode. As the session continues time credit is decremented. When customer remove card, session is ended. Cards act as advertisements, reminding your customers to visit your store.
Please note that you need one smart card reader for every computer where you want to enable smart card login, plus one reader for main computer in order to generate smart cards for customers. All models are also writers – they can be used for writing smart cards. All readers/writers are compatible with most PC platforms: Windows 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP, 2003, Server 2008, Vista and Windows 7.
Readers and cards have to be purchased from Antamedia in order to get new Internet Caffe license with smart card option enabled. Smart cards, readers and keyboards can be also purchased for different purpose at the same price.
